LOCAL referees are taking a stand - not against foul play or abusive language but in Evesham's Riverside Shopping Cen-tre on Saturday.
The idea if part of a recruitment drive by the local society in conjunction with the Worcester-shire FA and any wou- ld-be officials are invited along to take a look at what's on offer.
The whistle will be blown on an event that starts at 9am late in the afternoon when it's hoped there will be more men in the middle signed up to boost decreasing numbers in the Vale.
