THERE'S a United front at Common Road despite the Robins slipping to next to bottom of the Southern League Premier Division table.

Manager Dave Busst is buckling down to turn things around, while chairman Jim Cockerton is happy to let his manager find a remedy to Evesham's current plight.

"I'm doing all I can to support him and nobody wants to see him succeed more than I do," the chairman admitted. "He's a high profile manager and has done a great job in his time here. We can't buy our way out of trouble but I am going to give him every chance to put things right."

Busst, who offered his resignation to the chairman after the Solihull game, is equally determined to ensure that the club retains its top flight status.

"I've spoken to Jim and everything is fine," Busst revealed. "Yes I was down after the Solihull defeat and certain things were said. I was given the chance to carry on but I won't be offering my resignation again!"

Busst is determined to "dig deep" in an attempt to turn things around and he admits that there could be as many as four new faces in his squad for Saturday's visit to Chesham and Tuesday's trip to Banbury United.

Former Kidderminster striker John Williams is expected to train tonight and his experience could be valuable alongside Richard Ball after Jae Martin followed Jermaine Clarke out of Common Road last week.

Stuart Hamilton, meanwhile, is ano-ther on the move after a change of job.
