BARNARDS Green Cricket Club held their annual presentation dinner and dance at The Pheasant, Welland, on Friday.
The club celebrated its promotion to the Worcester County League division one after taking the runners-up spot in division two.
The Saturday second team, who won the division two second XI division and the league knock out cup and the Singles team, who won the Worcestershire League division five.
Team Awards: Saturday 1st XI - Batting Rich Williams, bowling Tim Williams, PoY Paul Drinkwater. Saturday 2nd XI - Batting Liam Paddock, bowling Lewis Hooper, PoY Phil Harris. Singles - Batting Judd Doughty, bowling Andy Sanders, PoY Richard A Brown. Thirds - Batting Dick Brown, bowling Dave Price, PoY Chris Hill.
Sunday 1st XI - Batting Kevin Golder, bowling Matt Brookes, PoY Tom Clack. Sunday 2nd XI - Batting Chris Hill, bowling Marek Wajzer, PoY Anshuman.
Evening League - PoY Sam Spencer.
Club awards: Most improved player - Sam Spencer. Young player of the year - Tom Clack. Alex Lamb Memorial Trophy - Phil Harris. Clubman of the year - Graeme Glendenning.
