AT the November meeting members discussed the schedules for the 2006 flower show and heard feedback from the work done on the memorial garden for babies at the Alexandra Hospital. It has been suggested the club should take on the ongoing maintenance of the garden.
At the December meeting a cheque was presented to the Macmillan Nurses, the proceeds of the flower show functions at Steps bistro.
The meeting on December 5 was a social evening with a Christmas-themed buffet. The January meetings will be at Burcot Nurseries with a talk, gardeners' question time and an opportunity to buy from the nursery. The meeting starts at 7pm.
The club welcomes new members, both experienced and novice gardeners. Normal meetings start at 7.30pm.
