THERE are a few people who regularly contribute to the Letters page whose style is instantly recognisable.

Tom Wareing for his moral, Christian and family values, Howard Bellaby for the humorous tongue-in-cheek views of his cat Marmite and Robin King for his political propaganda.

Mr King seems to dislike contributions from "Name and address supplied" writers (Letters, November 30).

Perhaps they do have very genuine reasons for not wanting, or not being able to disclose who they are.

Perhaps they are professional or high profile or powerful people who do not wish to declare their political allegiance, unlike Mr King.

However, Mr King does give some good advice in his recent letter.

While he suggests these letters may come from people who are not liked or that no-one would read the letter if they knew its origin, he clearly reads and digests the letters.

Mr King would therefore do well to heed his own advice. If he wrote his letters and left them as Name and address supplied, perhaps a lot more people would read them.

Dare we say it . . .
