REDDITCH u12s clinched a 24-21 win at Bromyard at the weekend, prompting coach Adam Kite to claim it was the best display of the season by his side.

Scorers were Dean Masters, Aeron Warburton and Tom Dalton who claimed a hat-trick.

The u10s also recorded a win over Bromyard, their seven tries to one victory coming thanks to scores from Harry Carr (three), Kit Hemming, Oliver Morris, George Smith and a last minute try for Jessica Sly. Man of the Match was shared between Liam Jakeman and Harry Carr.

The u8s also travelled to Bromyard but were beaten 7-5 where Joseph Cardy was the Man of the Match.

The teams are at home next week when Bridgnorth provide the opposition with the u15s entertaining Trimsaran from South Wales.

n Kings Norton u15s Rhinos gave a spirited performance against an experienced Droitwich side but finally lost out 40-5 at Ash Lane.

Head Coach Paul McGlynn was especially pleased with strong performances by Marco Mannion, James Shaw and try scorer Alex Birch.

n Woodrush u16s drew their match with Nuneaton 7-7.

Hampered by a very wet and muddy pitch, the forwards battled out a well deserved draw.

The first half was evenly balanced but it was Nuneaton who scored first with converted try in the corner.

Woodrush responded with a driving mall that created space in the Nuneaton backs line for Zac Small to burst through. He also added the conversion.

Early in the second half Nuneaton could have won the match with a penalty attempt but the kick was wide.

Woodrush then needed some resolute defending to keep the Warwickshire side at bay.
