BROMSGROVE Colts lost Ryan Godwin to injury late on in their 10-7 win over Derby on Sunday.
The game was cut five minutes short when Godwin was taken to hospital. He was later discharged after being checked.
Bromsgrove had controlled the game but could not finish off Derby, despite having the lion's share of the game.
Tom Solomon bagged a Bromsgrove try and had one ruled out. Gareth Thomas converted the touch down and scored what proved to be the decisive penalty.
Russell Ingram and Ryan Godwin dominated the lineouts, while Jess Banner provided the Boars' creativity.
