THERE were thrills galore at Tysoe in the Stratford Alliance last Saturday when the home side scored five goals but still lost!

United boasted a handful of different scorers in the Cutler Division Three Knockout Cup but Blockley's quartet of net finders managed to score seven times with Chris Rogers, Shaun Stanley and Rob Vick all scoring twice.

Dan Jennings and Paul Gibson also bagged braces as Quinton and FISSC both made progress in the same competition.

The only league game in Division Three saw David Veitch net twice in a 3-0 win for Red Alert at lowly Welford B.

All matches in Herald Division Two were hit by the weather but only one was lost in Aquaid Division One where there were wins for Henley Forest, Southam, Quinton and Stratford Spartak.

Henley recorded the section's biggest win - 5-0 at Badsey Rangers, while the other winners all boasted three-goal margins of victory.
