At the Fur and Feather contest, fished on the Staffordshire Canal at Caunsall, Mark Brown pole-fished bread punch to clinch first place with 2lb 11oz of roach. Clive James fished in a similar style, to take second with 2-3, and Reg Putnam was third with 1-8.
The next club meeting is at headquarters on Monday at 8pm.
