the youngsters of Neat Feet Dancing pulled out all the stops for a show called Nursery Magic.

A performance on Saturday and two on Sunday managed to fill the theatre each time.

Children ranged in age from three-and-half to teenagers, and dedication and concentration was evident throughout.

The 'Babies' class appeared in their pyjamas and carrying teddy bears, while the slightly older, but still very small children, dressed as pigs and lambs.

Every child on the stage deserved to be there, but several of the older performers deserve special mention.

They include Emily Brown as a music box doll, who showed impeccable timing, and Sarah Chorlton, inspired as the Little Mermaid. Both girls brought the programme to a close as the Spinning Tops, alongside Jill Ennis and Sadie Kinner, in a routine that had been very well choreographed by dance tutor, Susan Melvin.
