SIR - Good news for the motorists - the spread of speed cameras is to be halted. But how will the Government generate the revenues the cameras created? Because they were a good money-making machine. After all, that's all they were, because the motorist was punished twice for the same offence of speeding. The first punishment was a three-point penalty on one's licence and the second was the fine.
