TO conclude the season of Christmas this Sunday's morning service at St Peter's will mark Epiphany and the baptism. It will be a family service starting at 11am.
Next Thursday(January 12), the Powick Parish Ramblers will meet for the first walk of the New Year at 10am at Leigh Sinton Garden Centre. The four and a half mile walk around the area will be lead by Joy and Phil Bunyan (01886) 832774.
A concert entitled The Rustle of Spring will be held at Powick Parish Hall on Saturday, January 28, at 7.30pm. Performed by the Hill Singers, who sing unaccompanied, the concert is in aid of Worcestershire Wildlife Trust. Tickets, at £6 each, can be reserved by ringing Jim Handley on (01886) 832802 or Joy Bunyan on (01886) 832774. Refreshments are included.
