A grand total of £250 was raised at the Christmas concert given by the Colwall Singers in December. This will be going to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
A quiz in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice will take place on Saturday, January 7, at Colwall British Legion starting at 7.30pm. A team of four £5, please book on (01684) 540944.
An Epiphany service will be held at St James' Church, Colwall, on Sunday (January 8) at 10.15am. Afterwards Epiphany cake and wine will be served. Later in the afternoon, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, there will be an Epiphany party for children in the Ale House. Please ring Lynn on 541733 as she would like to know how many are turning up. All children are welcome to this free party. (Parents are welcome to stay as well).
Young Colwall Players will meet tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am at the Good Shepherd, Upper Colwall. Please note change of venue for this week.
