IMAGINE in your wildest dreams racing flat-out for an hour on the indoor karting track at Autosport International in a four-person team headed by an invited celebrity.

And, for a limited number of lucky people, you get into the show at tomorrow's Trade Day at the NEC. Most importantly, though, you will be raising money for a really special charity, CLIC Sargent, caring for children with cancer or leukaemia.

The chequered flag for this unique event will be waved at 12 noon to allow Live Action Arena hosts Louise Goodman, James Whitham and Paul Muselle to take part in the event.

Only 20 teams, consisting of four members of the public each headed by a celebrity, including motor sport legends such as BTCC star Gareth Howell, multiple World Powerboat Champion Steve Curtis, Will Hoy, Hard Charger winner Mark Fell, ALMS ace Johnny Mowlem and Gareth 'Gaz Top' Jones will challenge for overall honours.

The lucky entrants will be at the wheel of a SodiKart GT2, 270cc Honda-engined kart and trophies will be awarded to the first three karts to cross the line, with a champion's trophy for the team with the highest overall position.

A place in the race costs just £25 per person or £100 for a team of four, which also includes entry to the show. The event, presented by Karting Oxford, presents a truly exclusive opportunity for members of the public to race with the stars, to visit Autosport International on a day reserved for trade only, and know that their efforts will be going to an excellent cause.

Just get on the phone and book your place now with Karting Oxford on 01865 717134.
