Evesham and District Airgun League
STANTON Club failed to win for the first time this season when they were held to a tie by Offenham RBL.
A win for the Lygon at Wick-hamford trimmed Stanton's adva-ntage at the summit to three points with Ian Harwood's score of 49 the best of the week.
Campden's M Farmer matched that effort as his side moved up to third after a comfortable defeat of Bengeworth SSC but it was a far tighter affair in the all-Badsey clash.
Hosts RBL had three shooters score 46 but it was 47 from A Green that pro-ved crucial as the Recre-ation Club prised out a three-shot success.
Results: Badsey RBL 265 (I Davies, G Evans, G Sams), Badsey Rec 268 (A Green); Campden RBL 277 (M Farmer 49), Bengeworth SSC 259 (D Littlewood 45); Stanton Club 280 (B Evans 48), Offenham RBL 280 (A Lewis, P Lewis, S Thomson 48); Wickhamford SSC 278 (A Robbins), Lygon Arms 286 (I Harwood 49).
