AT the December meeting, members enjoyed an interesting talk and slide show from John Edgeley, of Pershore College, on organic gardening.
This was followed by a presentation to the Macmillan nurses of two cheques totalling £1,000 from Steps bistro and the garden club. Members then enjoyed a lovely buffet put on by Steps, and this was followed by a question and answer session.
On February 13 our guest speaker will be David Bates, who has 50 years experience growing and showing dahlias and is the Garden News dahlia correspondent.
This will be a one-hour talk with slides and question time. The meeting starts at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome, both experienced and novice gardeners.
