THE entertainment at our Christmas meeting was provided by the Tanworth-in-Arden WI choir, and they proved to be all round entertainers as, besides singing very professionally for us, their accompanist played a solo and several members gave us two sketches which kept us laughing.
Business was kept to a minimum but we were given news of the classes to be entered at the food, flower and craft day in May, when the theme will be Down on the Farm.
We all enjoyed an American tea provided by members and shared by the choir. Flower of the month was won by Elaine Harris, and the competition was won by Rita Wilson with Pam Field second and Margaret Smith third.
