AN album that hasn't made it to the top of the charts for nothing, The Strokes have burst back onto the scene with this vibrant CD.
Bouncing back with their lead single Juicebox, this talented rock band have a lot to prove with their third album, and they have, just about, been able to keep it going throughout the 14 songs on offer.
A talented band no-doubt, the hype of the first album did seem to go to their heads somewhat, as the second album was a bit of a disappointment.
But the first three songs of this album are corkers, and really get you in the mood for more of The Strokes classic charm and I suspect there will be a few "growers" hidden further in for enjoyment.
All in all, a good album, a great listen and, for Strokes fans, a must-buy.
