BRIDGE CLUB: The North Cotswolds Bridge Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary with three days of special events in Moreton on January 27, 28 and 29. Non-members from the district are very welcome to join the fun in the Redesdale Hall, either for rubber bridge pairs on the Friday, Duplicate pairs on the Saturday, or teams-of-four on the Sunday. Each day runs from 10.30am to 4pm, and tickets, at just £7.50 include refreshments, a lunch, and prizes. The emphasis is, as always, on the social aspect of the game, with less experienced players being particularly encouraged. A grand draw in aid of the Bourton-on-the-Hill Old School, with 20 or more prizes will be drawn on the Sunday.
