WEDNESDAY CLUB: Members met on January 4 when Mrs M Boath presided, birthday cards were distributed after which a few minutes' silence was observed for the recent passing of two old members - Mrs Anne Coldicott and Mrs Katherine Lewis.
Names were taken for the visit to the pantomime Aladdin on Friday, January 27. The coach will leave village hall at 6.30pm. Arrangements have also been made for the annual dinner at the Round of Gras, Badsey, on Wednesday, February 1 when the coach leaves village hall at 12.30pm. Tea and biscuits were served by Mrs Neal and helpers.
