I WOULD like to add to Barbara Evan's letter in December 29 edition: God Bless NHS. Having had a total hip replacement at Alstone Ward in Cheltenham, I can only put down my speedy recovery to the skill of the surgeon and the happy, professional way of all the staff.
Plus the after care from the Twins, Friends from Broadway, Tisanes Tea Rooms, Pershore and flat 2 for letting me use the shower every morning --keeping me clean. I am most grateful and thank you to you all - what a way to start the new year.
