YOUNGSTERS were bold as brass when they took part in the launch of a pilot musical project with a special concert.
The pupils, of St Barnabas CE Middle School, Drakes Broughton, near Pershore, are taking part in a local education authority test scheme to encourage the uptake of brass instruments.

Lupton said the children found the experience "tremendous".
"We are delighted to be part of this scheme and the children have enjoyed the quality of the playing," he said.
The youngsters will be perfecting their musical skills in the coming weeks for a concert later in the term.
