MAY I assure town councillor Paul Gittins (Letters, January 5) that last October some residents in Catchem's End, Kidderminster Road, brought their concerns to me about missing bollards and that drivers were parking illegally on the footpath.
I promptly reported this to the Highways Partnership, who advised me in November that new bollards had been ordered.
Furthermore, I have informed the police about this issue, who have assured me that they will enforce the parking order.
The new bollards are expected to be installed shortly, so I hope this will put the minds of local residents at rest.
