EVESHAM United boss Dave Busst has described tomorrow's relegation clash at Aylesbury United as a 'must-win' game (3pm).

Both clubs are level on 22 points in the bottom four of the Southern League Premier Division, although the Robins enjoy a better goal difference.

Evesham ended a run of three successive defeats with a 3-0 home triumph over Rugby Town last Saturday, Steve Duncan, Robert Taylor and Richard Ball grabbing the goals.

Busst was delighted to stop the rot at Common Road and is calling on his players to shoot down the Ducks in the first of five successive away matches.

"It was a much-needed win (against Rugby)," said Busst. "It was just a relief to get that win and we must repeat that at Aylesbury.

"It's a massive game for us and Aylesbury. They are on the same points as us, so we cannot afford to lose and we don't want to lose ground to teams around us. We beat Aylesbury 2-0 earlier this season and they've had a few problems.

"We know we have to be on top of our game. If we have a below-par performance, we lose the game. We cannot afford below-par games, although we could if we were one of the top teams.

"We need wins. We lost three games over Christmas and drew three before that, but that was no good for us. We would rather have won two and lost four, because we would have picked up more points and that's what we need."

Busst is expected to name an unchanged line-up at Buckingham Road, while Grant Pinkney is available for selection after overcoming illness.

Jermaine Clarke has returned to Redditch United for another month's loan with a view to a permanent move.

Busst missed out on signing Romulus striker Tyrone Fagan, although he is still chasing new signings, including a centre-half.
