BURLY tanker drivers will bring a touch of romance to their oil deliveries when they hand out red roses to every domestic customer on Valentine's Day on Tuesday.
Stourport-based independent fuel distributors, Hingley & Callow Oils, decided to make the gesture as a thank you to their loyal customers.
Director, Helen Needham, said: "The drivers are quite happy about it. Hopefully they won't get too amorous - most are happily married."
With romance in the air, she hopes husband, Phil, who runs Hodge Hill Nurseries on the outskirts of Kidderm-inster, will give her a good deal on her bulk order - with a few left over for herself!
