Holders Moreton Wanderers reached the last four of the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Knockout Cup with an extra time win over Red Horse.

The teams shared six goals in normal time before Wanderers hit three without reply. Mills (2),Jeffs, Winter, Payne and Habbits scored for Wanderers with Davies, Staley and Duncan scoring for the Horsemen.

Mickleton Rangers needed a penalty shootout to account for Bredon, Willersey progressed in the Evesham Mechanical Services Subsidiary Cup with a comfortable win at Bengeworth Sports, Gary Hawkins netting twice.

Lenches Lions upset division four leaders Fairfield Sports to reach the last eight of the Bluck Cup.Lions scored through Curnock and Tyrell.

Eckington needed extra time to account for Broadway Utd Res and a Hatchett double saw Crowle edge passed Ashton, Gardeners Arms defeated Sporting Theocs with goals from Emms, Martin, Roberts, Haughty and Hickman.

Ambassador returned to the top of division one with victory at title hopefuls Bear FC. Simon Brain struck twice with further goals from Clear and Young, and the Bear replied through Greenwood and Bate.

Offenham Rovers moved away from relegation with a four-goal win at Inkberrow with goals from Chinn (2), Tustin and Puttock, and two own goals contributed to Broadway Utd's defeat at Evesham WMC.

In division two, leaders Bretforton Old Boys moved closer to promotion with victory over Shipston Excelsior, Scott scoring twice, goals from Moore and Guscott gave Defford/Besford Utd an excellent win at promotion hopefuls Alderton, while Tewkesbury Town and Badsey Rec shared eight goals, Pettitt scoring four for Town with Smith(2), Bishop and Beard replying for the Rec.

Moreton Town moved three points clear at the top of division three, hitting four without reply against Pinvin Utd. Ben Shurmer (2), Neale and Barnes were on target. Wickhamford earned a point against Golden Cross with a second-half Clements strike after Groves had given the visitors an early lead.

Bell Utd recovered from last week's mauling to share four goals at Norgren, and in division four Gate Inn hit six past Blue Maze, the goals coming from Tyrell (2), Rainey (2), Wormington and Barnett.
