SATURDAY, February 25 is the date of the Castlemorton Common Association annual social supper at the village hall.
There will be the usual full supper, licensed bar, raffle and entertainment, to include local children playing a few tunes, medieval recorder music and Med with his band. Tickets are £6 but they are limited. To book, call 01684 833504/833477/ 833870.
On January 21, James Greenwood enthralled a full house at the village hall as he gave a breathtaking account of his journey around the world on horseback. Thank you to James and all those who attended and helped raise £914, rounded up to £1,000 from committee funds, all of which will be spent on maintenance works on the common. Some of this money has since been spent and we would like to thank Roger Howells for carrying out a splendid job on various areas around the common.
