A NEW Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) hit the Studley beat on Monday.
Gareth Walton, 25, is looking forward to getting out and about into the community and meeting people, he told the Advertiser.
"It's the sort of job where you can make a difference and I'm looking forward to doing that," said the fitness fanatic and football fan.
Mr Walton is one of eight new PCSOs recruited to Warwick-shire police. The officers are able to tackle a range of problems including anti social behaviour. For more details, visit www.warwickshire.police.uk or call human resources on 01926 415000.
