AN ALCESTER farm will be welcoming a special guest at the weekend.
TV Vet Joe Inglis, of BBC's Vets in Practice, will be lending an expert hand to smallholders and giving advice on animal and pet care at the event on Saturday, April 8.
Red Hill Farm hopes to attract hundreds of residents with an interest in keeping animals.
The event will bring together specialists in all areas of agriculture and livestock care, with alpacas, pygmy goats and quail among the breeds available to see and buy on the day.
Workshops and demonstrations will offer advice on issues including the best feed, bedding and housing for different species of livestock.
Mr Inglis will be at the open day form 10.30am-3pm.
