AN Alcester woman was forced to hand over her bag after thieves followed her home from Birmingham.
The woman was overtaken by a dark red car, possibly a Ford Mondeo or Vauxhall Cavalier with three or four occupants, somewhere in the vicinity of the Maypole roundabout on the outskirts of Birmingham in the early hours of Monday morning.
The car stopped in front of the woman's car and the occupants opened her door but she managed to drive off.
The offenders followed the woman to Alcester and as she pulled onto a drive in Heron Close they opened the passenger door and demanded her bag then drove off.
The black nylon rucksack contained dancing shoes, cosmetics, a mobile phone and keys.
The woman was shocked but not physically injured. Anyone with information can call police on 01926 415000.
