LAST weekend's club run for Evesham Whe-elers was to Earl's Croome Garden Cen-tre.

An early shower greeted the riders as they progressed towards Elmley Castle, Combertons, Eckington, and Pershore passing Croome Court. However, the sun was shining when arriving at the coffee stop.

Well fed, the group took a more direct route home via Naunton, Stre-nsham, Eckington, Elm-ley Castle and home with the 13 B riders completing 42 miles.

The club staged its first Time Trial of 2006 on the K39/10T starting at Teddington, proceeding to Toddington and enc-ircling the roundabout to return to the finish at the start point.

On a cloudy and windy evening, 11 entrants, including three juniors, clocked some good early season times in.

Results: Phil Parsons 25.06; Martyn Cole 27.25; Richard Rhodes 28.14; Adrian Main 28.45; Steve McGrath 28.58; Martin Rose 27.53; Sheldon Att-wood 28.20; Ray Hemming 30.28. Juniors: Matthew Ullmer 25.52; Tom Stock-dale 26.43; Callum Tustin 30.56.

This Sunday's week's run will be a Mystery Ride, starting at 9am outside Argos and is open to all levels of riders.
