A HEARTFELT tribute has been paid to a group of young girls in Redditch who have been working so hard to raise cash for breast cancer research.
One of them is 13-year-old Jenna Carter, whose sister Cheryl Lehane Jalloh died just weeks ago from the disease.
Her fellow fundraisers are Jessica Mills, 14 , and her nine-year-old sister Eleanor and Charlotte Smiles, 11, and her sister, 10-year-old Bethany.
They are organising cake stalls, raffles and school discos to help raise £3,000 to enable their mums to enter the Aviva Walk for Breast Cancer in Birmingham in September. So far, they have collected £260.
Debbie Mills, who will be entering with Laura Smiles and Ann Carter under the team name of Mission Impossible, said: "Our amazing daughters have been working so hard to help us achieve our goal.
"They even train with us for five miles every Sunday around Arrow Valley lake.
"We have a long way to go though to raise the sponsorship."
Anyone who would like to sponsor the mums or help in any other way can call Mrs Mills on 457862.
