Evesham and District Table Tennis Association
IN MK Technical Division 3A, young and upcoming Wyre Double Trouble duo of Luke and Adam Gordon have claimed the title thanks to a season's worth of commitment and dedication.
They fought off competition from Evesham Harriers' Colin Green and Don Gould but the chase went down to the final match between Harriers and Tornadoes.
Paul Gearey won his two singles beating Green and Gould. Martin Handy, however, lost his two matches leaving the match all-square at 2-2.
Tornadoes, though, won the doubles after a close fifth game leaving the new champions a single point ahead at the summit.
It's still tight at the top in Division 3B where Littleton Allstarts, Littleton Best and Blackminster Bullets all have the potential to win the title.
