THE second weekend of the Wor-cester County Championships saw even more success for members of the Evesham club.
Arguably the most demanding stroke - butterfly - has proved to be a success story and gold medals were won by Cara Lee, Cameron Brodie (2), and Harry Ackland.
Coming back from illness, the latter also won gold in the 200m breaststroke.
Brodie and Ackland have now achieved a 12 qualifying times for the Regional Championships and are now looking forward to competing in the event in June.
Ayeshea Gardiner and David Townsend were both narrowly pipped in their butterfly races and had to settle for silver medals.
Several other medals were won with special mention to Mathew Rochell who won his first County medal when touching third in the 50m backstroke.
Amazingly, all the other competitors from Evesham achieved personal bests namely James Bartram, Nathan Pallett, Amy Camp, Kim Swindlehurst, and Kyle Annis.
