MEMBERS have enjoyed three excellent presentations, one by John Lacey on producing mono prints on a computer and a digital projection called Double Trouble by John Cartlidge. Max Slater showed slides of British Landscapes.
The third print competition was won by John Lacey, in the mono section, with Frosty Morning, New Forest. David Keep was second with One Mum, One Dad, Two Dogs and Three Kids and John Lacey was third with His Lordship. The colour section was won by David Keel with Clear at the Last Fence, Alan Fackrell was second with Kursty and Jude Lucas was third with Venetian Dream. The judge was George Sparrow.
Graham Hodgkiss judged the annual Six Societies Print Competition on February 8 in the Britannia room. Wythall PS won by two points over Bromsgrove PS . Maximum points were awarded to Brian Wieghell from Wythall PS and John Williams from Kings Heath & Hall Green PS with A Stones Throw from the Light and Six Spot Burnet Moth respectively.
Wythall PS also won the annual "mix and match" slide competition with Phoenix PS and Kings Heath and Hall Green PS.
Visitors and new members are always welcome to meetings on Wednesdays at 8pm in the darts room, Wythall Community Association, Silver Street, Wythall.
