AS our meeting coincided with Fair Trade Fortnight we had a fair trade stall.
Also on show were the scrapbooks of memoirs of the past 22 years and also of our association with HMS Kingfisher, which lasted till the ship was decommissioned.
Our speaker was Anne Day from Worcestershire Federation who brought a selection of the many beautiful craft items held in the archives.
They ranged from pewter work through all types of embroidery to knitting and crochet and we marvelled at the skill and patience of our fellow members. President May Lloyd gave the vote of thanks.
Three of our members will be attending the annual council meeting at Malvern when the main speaker will be Anne Widdecombe.
Flower of the Month was won by May Lloyd. The competition was won by May Lloyd with Jean Lees second and Eileen Harris third.
Our next meeting will be a members' afternoon, with a craft demo and cake tasting and all members and friends will be very welcome. The date will be April 10 at 2pm in the Ecumenical Centre.
