A POLICE surgery is starting in Feckenham to give people in the rural area the chance to discuss concerns.

Crabbs Cross beat officer Pc Richard Waterhouse wanted to set up the surgeries to give villagers the chance to ask questions or seek advice on any number of topics.

The first surgery will be held tomorrow at Feckenham Village Hall from 7-9pm and subsequent meetings will be held ever two months, the next being on June 8.

Pc Waterhouse said: "Sometimes residents living in rural locations may feel quite isolated and have concerns which they would like to talk to the police about.

"They don't have to be major incidents or concerns. I am prepared to talk with residents about anything which may be playing on their minds, whether this be speeding, parking problems, or anything of a more serious nature."

Pc Waterhouse added: "The aim of these surgeries is to give people a chance to talk face to face with the police about anything, big or small, to see if we can resolve any issues they may have.

"I hope as many villagers as possible take the opportunity to drop in to the surgery."
