PERSHORE Tennis Centre staged the Topping-Out ceremony for its new indoor facility on Monday.
Years of planning and hard work have led to this point, where the roof is on, the walls are up, and everything is proceeding towards completion at the end of June.
The building consists of three indoor courts housed in a fabric covered, steel framed tennis hall, plus a new clubhouse with changing rooms, reception, lounge, kitchen and bar.
Funding for the project has come from the LTA, Sport England, Wychavon District Council, Pershore Group of Colleges together with the tennis centre and its members.
The project is a joint venture between Pershore TC and the Pershore Group of Colleges.
Anyone interested in playing tennis at the new centre should contact head coach Richard Crabtree on 07968 387280.
