CHILDREN at a Spa school enjoyed a taste of spring after they successfully hatched six chicks.
The youngsters from the reception class at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, in Ombersley Way, kept the eggs in a special incubator until they hatched last week.
They also staged an interview in a showcase assembly for their parents to see how much knowledge they have on hatching chicks. Their class teacher, Marion Macbeth, said she was very proud of them.
