PROUDLY waving their newly-knitted scarves, Catshill pupils showed off their artistic talents to Bromsgrove MP Julie Kirkbride.
Julie was invited to Catshill Middle School, in Meadow Road, to judge a school scarf design competition.
The contest was organised by wool company Twilleys, which provided the equipment and prizes.
The pupils have been working on their designs since January. They knitted their scarves on their own or with the help of relatives.
Nathan Ind, aged 13, was the best boy, while ten-year-old Shannon Hulse was the winner in the girls' category.
The most innovative design award went to Zinnia Stokes, aged ten.
The winners were presented with a selection of craft equipment.
Design and technology teacher Julie Pask said: "I was really pleased with the variety of designs we received.
"The response was so good that I wanted to get someone special to come in and judge the competition, and Julie Kirkbride was brilliant with the children."
