BUDDING artists at a Bromsgrove school displayed their creative talents with their very own art exhibition.

Children at Lickey Hills Primary School showcased their work to parents with an exhibition last Thursday. Each class, from nursery to year six, was given the task of painting their own picture in the style of a famous artists, such as Van Gogh or Monet.

The pictures were then framed, and exhibited on display boards.

Some 450 pictures were displayed at the exhibition - over 300 of which were sold to visitors.

Deputy headteacher Paula Rudd said: "It was fantastic for the children to see their work presented in that way.

"Very few children go to art exhibitions so to see something like these showed how valued their art work is."
