SWIMMING: REDDITCH came fourth overall in the Harvey Novice Gala held at Nuneaton.

The team swam really well with Taylor Hartley, 10, and Oliver Plevey, 11, receiving speeding tickets for swimming too fast!

Gaining a double first was Cassandra Robinson, 11, in the 50m breaststroke and freestyle races.

Also gaining first places for the 11-year-olds were James Scott, 50m butterfly, and Jack Nash, 50m free.

Taylor Hartley and Lucy Corden, both 10, came first in the 50m free as did Nicola Moss in the 9 year one-length breast.

Second places went to Charlotte Hooper, 9, and Harriet Jarvis, 10, breast and Jack Nash, Chloe Figgett and Lily Allen-Dodd, all 11, 50m backstroke.

Third places were gained by Burgess Ellison, 9, Arran Holmes, 10, and Bethany Austin, 11, in the breast, Nicola Moss, 9, and Lucy Corden, 10, in the back and Bethany, also in the 50m free.

The relay teams taking second places were nine year olds Charlotte Hooper, Caitlin Green, Laura Hill, Nicola moss, Daniel Bridgman, Adam Watson, Taylor Hartley and Aaron Holmes in the free relays.

The relay swimmers gaining third places were 11-year-olds James Scott, Tyler Sherwood, Oliver Plevey and Jack Nash in the Medley and Free, and Bethany Austin, Cassandra Robinson, Lily Allen-Dodd and Chloe Figgett in the girls' free.

Caitlin Green, Stephanie Beaumont, Nicola Moss and Charlotte Hooper, all 9, also gained third place in the Medley Relay.

Heather Robbins, 10, also swam adding points to the final team total.
