SUNDAY'S annual jun-ior tournament organised by Bretforton and staged at Evesham High School saw Gloucester and Cheltenham take the honours.
Boys and girls took part in Under-12 and an Under-16 seven-a-side competition with the former seeing Gloucester, Bretforton A, Sherborne and Evesham A reaching the semi-finals.
Gloucester defeated the hosts on penalty flicks after a goalless clash that went to extra-time, while Evesham were on the wrong end of a 3-0 scoreline
However, the result was reversed when Sherborne faced Gloucester in the final and the stage was set for the winners to complete a day's double in the older age group.
Sherborne, Blockley, Bretforton and Chelten-ham joined Gloucester in the round-robin Under-16 event and it was holders Cheltenham who proved unbeatable as they remained undefeated to see off Gloucester's game challenge.
