HEARTLESS thieves left elderly residents stranded at their Stourport nursing home when they stole their minibus.
Police recovered the vehicle the next day but it was damaged, which will take time to repair before it can be used again to take people living at the Ravenhurst Care Home on outings.
Eighty-year-old resident, Dorothy Oliver, said: "It is outrageous that someone should do something like this.
"We enjoy our trips out and we were looking forward to the summer - now it has all been spoiled. I think it is a despicable thing to do to older people."
