MOTORISTS in Wyre Forest are being asked to take part in surveys to determine if district roads can cope with increased traffic from proposed developments.
Survey results will be taken into account in development decisions, with new housing or employment sites increasing the flow of traffic on the roads.
Karen Hanchett, senior transportation engineer with Worc-estershire County Council, which is conducting the research, said: "We ask motorists to please co-operate during the surveys so the required information can be obtained efficiently."
Twenty-four surveys will take place between 7am and 7pm across Wyre Forest and Worc-ester.
