KIDDERMINSTER Fairtrade Group would like to thank everyone who helped with the exhibition which launched Fairtrade Fortnight in the town.
Thanks go to Wyre Forest District Council for the use of the Corn Exchange and the council staff for their help and co-operation; exhibitors and their volunteers; children from Sladen Middle School, who took part in activities so willingly; the pupils from St John's First School for the brilliant play and dance; and the Co-op Society for the supply once again of "tasters".
All nine exhibitors have expressed their enthusiasm for a repeat of the exhibition during next year's Fairtrade Fortnight and all have been invited to take part in the council's arts week later this year, with its environmental theme.
Finally, thanks to the 17 shops in town taking part in our "I Spy" competition.
Congratulations to all concerned.
