NETBALL: Worcestershire's county netball team has been disbanded after a restructuring of the sport by English Netball.
The focus from now on will be on club netball with clubs aspiring to progress up a pyramid, like in football.
To celebrate the end of an era, Worcestershire County Netball Association are having a final presentation evening at the Pear Tree, Smite, on Friday, April 28.

l Heathfield School's under-12 netball team were unstoppable as they stormed to success in the District Middle Schools competition.
They won all their matches en-route to the final where a 3-1 victory over Haybridge clinched the title.
Heathfield only let in two golas throughout the championship.
