MARTIAL ARTS: Two Kidderminster Tae Kwon Do students grabbed gold at the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain English Championships in Coventry.
Lamara Harding and Nicolas Pryce, who train at Holy Trinity School, took the top prizes in the girls heavyweight and boys lightweight respectively.
The TAGB is the largest martial arts association in Europe with over 22,000 members. More than 1,500 competitors took part in patterns, sparring and destruction events at the annual championships.
Harding and Pryce train under the instruction of fifth degree black belt Vince Farquharson, who will referee at the Tae kwon-do International European Championships in Davos, in Switzerland, on Saturday.
The TAGB will be sending a squad of competitors to the event including Hickey, in the mens' patterns division.
