DANIEL Hartmann and Robert Farrington came home with bronze medals from the British Orienteering Relay Championships, held near Midhurst at the weekend.
Hartmann, aged 16, of Malvern Wells, and Farrington, 17, of Wellington Heath, were joined by Harlequins club-mate Chris Embrey of Birmingham in the hotly contested U18s class.
Solid runs from Farrington and Embrey put Hartmann in fourth place going into the last leg. He held it together while other teams made mistakes to clinch third-place.
Anyone who would like to try a gentler version of this exciting adventure sport for all is welcome to Holme Lacy, near Hereford, on Saturday, April 22.
