WORCESTERSHIRE Schools Badminton Assoc-iation is holding a fun badminton tournament on Saturday, May 13, at Perdiswell Leisure Centre, Worcester.
The tournament is divided into two age groups; U14s and U16s and there will be doubles and singles events.
Maurice Robinson Sports of Kings Heath are kindly donating prizes for winners and runners-up.
England and Worcester-shire coach Lorraine Cole said: "This tournament is different from our annual championships because we are not allowing county players to enter. We want to give young players with less experience the chance to have some good games without the pressure of coming up against county players.
"There will be lots of people on hand to help children who are not sure about any of the rules or scoring and we hope they will all have a lot of fun."
